Uptons of Bassett Butchers

Located in Bassett on the outskirts of Southampton, this award-winning butcher's was voted the Best Butcher in the South of England 2005 and 5th Best in the country by the Meat Traders Journal.

We are proud Upton's are one of our suppliers and subsequently we are frequently complimented on the quality of our meat. We will even be able to tell you which farm your meat came from.

Bradleys Fishmongers

Nestled in the Cabin Boatyard, Bursledon near Southampton, our fishmonger has a daily delivery of fresh fish from all over the south of England and the rest of the World. They also feature live crab and lobster tanks. Always obliging and helpful with an obvious love and skill of what they do.

Jane's Cakes

A teaching assistant during the daytime, cakes are a passion gone crazy. An obvious flair and originality to produce an endless theme of cake designs. A the cake quality and attention to detail of ingredients is simply divine. Remember that this recomendation is coming from a chef.

Jackpots Vegetables

It is no easy task that Jackpots have built up a network of local suppliers meaning over 95% of their vegetables are Hampshire produce. This is apparent in the quality and freshness of every product.

Purbecks Ice Cream

Very much a part of their community and supporting village stores, Purbeck Ice Cream regularly wins awards for their excellent products. Not only for unusual flavours like Clotted Cream and Honeycomb Hash but also for their Vanilla Bean and Seriously Chocolate.

Free from any GMO's, artificial colours, flavourings and preservatives; all of their ice cream is made on Lower Scoles Farm in the hills of Dorset. Our verdict is you will be hard pressed to find a smoother, creamier tasting ice cream with such a balanced flavour.

Here are some more unusual flavours, Berries with Clotted Cream, Champagne and Strawberry, Root Ginger Twist, Lemon Grass, Cracked Black Pepper.

Provender Delicatessen

These people know cheese. Based in Somerset they have found the best the country and continent have to offer. We are often asked to find a specific favourite cheese for clients and more often than not, Provender already supply it.

Here is a small selection of what they have to offer, Appleby Cheshire, Cornish Yarg, Village Green Goat, Beenleigh Blue, Montgomery Cheddar, Dorset Blue Vinny, Colston Bassett Blue Stilton and Shropshire Blue.

Fundamentally Fungus

Based in Stockbridge, Hampshire, 14 different varieties of organic cultivated mushrooms are available. Again, a love for what they do is both paramount and obvious.

Forest Spring Water

Bottled water is included in our corkage charge and new for 2007 we have found a local supplier. Located in Gorley near Fordingbridge, New Forest Spring Water comes in pure natural and lightly sparkling. It is served to you in glass bottles later recycled by ourselves.
